Would you like to help?

Every time you come to an event, buy raffle tickets or sponsor your children you are helping the Parents Association help the children in the school. Without your support at these events we would not be able to continue. If you would like to help even more, the Association always needs:
TIME - for example to bring elderly people to the Harvest Festival, to count the number of bounces at the sponsored bounce, to serve mulled wine at the Carol Concert, or to run a stall at the Christmas or Summer Fairs. If you are able to give a couple of hours once or twice a year please contact the committee.
IDEAS - if you have a suggestion for a new event, or a way of improving an existing one, let the committee know.
MONEY - if you would like to make an additional or regular monthly donation, the Association is now registered for Giftaid. The Association is able to claim an additional 28% from the Inland Revenue. Provided you are a taxpayer, this means that if you give £10, it is worth £12.80 to the Association. In addition, higher rate taxpayers are able to claim tax relief for themselves at 18% of the gross donation by including the details in their annual tax return.
NEW COMMITTEE MEMBERS - the committee is usually elected annually in September just after the start of the new school year, but new committee members are welcome at any time during the year.
