Year 5 are currently learning about persuasive writing.  To start our unit off we looked at persuasive arguments and debates.  We debated whether or not the school should have a swimming pool in the grounds.  We wrote our arguments from different people's point of view: headteacher, environmental officer, child, parents, swimming coach.  Click on the link below to see some photos of our debate in our lovely school grounds!
