Self Belief in May
Our value for May is ‘Self Belief’.
Self-belief is directly linked to a concept which is becoming increasingly recognised as a key factor in learning and future success in life – ‘Growth Mindset’.
Through the development of a new curriculum at The Downley School, our ‘Project Based Curriculum’ and the many sport activities we do we have embraced ‘Growth Mindset’, ‘P4C – Philosopy for Children’ and ‘Learning lines’ to encourage children to have self belief.
