Admissions into Reception Class September 2024

We are delighted that you are considering The Downley School as the school for your child.  If you have not yet visited our school, please do contact the school office on 01494 527033 to arrange for a tour.  We will be very proud to show you our school in action.

We will be holding Open Days for our new prospective parents on the following days:

Wednesday 13^th December 2023 (0915-1100 hours)

Friday 5^th January 2024 (0915-1100 hours)

Children normally enter the Reception Class in September of the school year in which they turn five. We are a two-form entry school and our admission number for children into Reception Classes is currently 60.

Buckinghamshire Council's online application portal for children starting Reception in September 2024 opens on 4th November 2023 and closes 15th January 2024.

In-Year Admissions

If you are interested in your child becoming part of The Downley School and would like a school tour, please contact the school office: 01494 527033 / office@thedownleyschool.co.uk.

An application for your child to join our school can be made at any time during the school year.   These applications will be processed through the “County In-Year Admissions Scheme”. Applications for admission at any time may be made by parents/carers on-line via the link below.
