During the week of 25th February 2013, we had Book Week at The Downley School. In Year Two we based our activities on the "Winnie the Witch" books which we all really enjoyed. We had the chance to practise our weighing and measuring skills to help Winnie plan her party. We made spooky biscuits and symmetrical bunting. We drew pictures in the style of Korky Paul's illustrations and wrote a new ending for the story. We really enjoyed dressing up as our favourite book characters!
